Ghost

I saw a very cool profile picture on DeviantArt, and then it reminded me of the promo poster for the up and coming Call of Duty:Ghost game which would be released on the next gen consoles(which I probably will be taking a long break from).

Anyway, here's a quick sketch of that picture with a minor twist, and here's the link to the original image.

  1. Oh I like!! always been kind of drawn to the things more fantasy and mystery kind of art. I like your drawing much better than the picture it self, your's has more drama to it and she looks like she's a very young soul drawn between human and animal. Her eye is amazing.

    Great piece!!!

    1. Thanks Mari. You're always so kind =)
I think the flames did a lot of work bringing out the drama...they always do.

  2. I like your sketch better than the original - much scarier. The eyes are of a young girl, very innocent.

    1. Thank you Beth. I really like drawing eyes too as they tend to tell stories, and I think you're right about the young girl somehow. I don't really know her. ^^

  4. That is spooky! You have such a normal and real looking eye over an imaginary jaw. The effect is great. I just went to your link. Your version makes the difference from the mask to the real face less apparent which makes it scarier. Nice job!

    1. ^^ Thank you for noticing Timaree. I did tweak it a little, showing more forehead, make the eyes larger(to make her appear younger), pulling the jaw part forward and shorten the overall length, more shading on the 'bones' to make them protrude a little, and finally the flame to bring out the contrasts a little more. Kinda adding the mystery of the whole image too I guess. I am glad it worked. =)
