Her mom passed away not too long ago, and I could only relate with the recent loss of my aunt in my family.
I didn't want to mail this to her, so I brought it with me to Seattle earlier this week attending a conference Angela and the compliance team organize every 2 years. I handed this drawing to her, tears started rolling. My eyes were wet too thinking about my TuaEe, and I know that this is probably one of the good ways to remember the loved ones that have left us.

DeleteStunning. Such a nice tribute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra.
DeleteAlex, this is an exceptionally beautiful portrait. My mother died very unexpectedly just a few days ago so this really resonated with me.

I am sorry to hear that Jane. I can only imagine how difficult it would be for me when it happens to me. But thank you for your comment.
DeleteJust beautiful! You've managed to capture such a sweet spirit in your portrait. Angela is blessed to have a friend in you.
ReplyDeleteI am blessed to have Angela as a friend too. :) She pretty much taught me what I needed to know in what I do for living right now, and she's a great teacher with lots of patience. Thanks
