I've been away for way too long... 2 months to be exact. A lot has happened within this 3 months, but hopefully I could draw regularly again.
Here's a simple sketch of a Chinese Dragon, in conjunction with this year's Chinese New Year celebration, the year of the dragon. I hope you like it, and thank you all again for your time and precious comments.
I love dragons, especially the Chinese New Year dragons. I've recently received some small metal dragons from a friend which I think I will make into some jewellery to commemorate this day. Great drawing, Alex.
This is really a great work ,Alex! Sometimes I can't draw, too due to many many reason. But I believe relaxing can make better work. Happy Chinese New year, too. We've got about 10 days hoilday this year. it's just fabulous. You know how important dragon means to Chinese .There are many people or friends around me ,they would like to have a new born baby this year. :)
Alex, he's a wonderful dragon, in all his scaly, toothy, and talony glory! It's good to see you back, and I can certainly relate to those long, dry spells.
It's a beautiful drawing, Alex! This dragon gives me an idea of strength and motion. It's an exotic, fascinating symbol to me, although I don't know much about it. Happy new year!
Love your dragon and Happy Chinese New Year to you too! I have been terrible about keeping up with blogs lately. I think everyone experiences busyness at times and understands. I hope this new year sees us both getting back into our art and blogging groove :-)
It's a fabulous dragon Alex.

He looks fierce. I like how the background resembles scales.
